Every decision carries a hidden anxiety:
What if I’m wrong?
What if the best opportunity slips away?
What if I regret it later?
These questions never end...
Because humans, by nature, cannot see the results before they happen.
Yet... they act as if they must guarantee them.
The First Shift: What Are You Really Seeking in Your Decision?
From immediate benefit... to lasting truth.
Many decisions are based on one question:
“What’s best for me right now?”
But this question is limited...
It’s affected by the moment... the desire... what seems beneficial only.
The Quran shifts you to a different question: What pleases Allah?
{"Indeed, the guidance of AllŒh is the [only] guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against AllŒh no protector or helper."} [Al-Baqarah: 120]
