Pause for a moment everything you know may not be enough
In Mumbai In Delhi In Bangalore People are running Jobs Universities Projects Money But in the middle of all this running There is a question that does not disappear A question that does not need philosophy Why does all this exist Not how does it work But why does it exist in the first place The universe did not ask to exist Science tells us that the universe has a beginning It did not exist then it existed Time itself began Matter itself began Space itself began Think carefully Before time existed What was there Before matter existed What was there Can something create itself before it exists Laws do not fall from the sky Gravity does not make mistakes Atoms do not behave randomly Equations work with precision The universe is organized Disciplined Calculable The question many people run away from Where did the laws come from A law does not create itself Order does not program itself Mathematics does not write itself If you found a precise program in your phone Would you say that electricity wrote it Now look at yourself You think You understand You analyze Consciousness has no weight No length No material form Where is feeling inside a nerve cell In which corner of the brain does sadness live In which part do morals hide Matter does not feel But you feel Matter does not ask But you ask How did the question come out of something that does not know how to question The problem is not how the brain works The problem is something deeper Why does awareness exist at all If everything is just blind reactions Then the mind is only the result of a long accident But if that is the case Why do we trust its conclusions Why do we trust logic Why do we trust science Why do we become angry at injustice If morality is only an evolutionary opinion Then there is no real injustice Only discomfort But every human being knows inside That justice is not a human invention Here comes a question that shakes the foundation Either this universe is an accident without purpose Or it is intended Either the mind is the product of blind chance Or it is the reflection of something greater Either everything has no real meaning Or existence has a conscious origin The Quran presents it with astonishing clarity ( Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]?)(AṬ-ṬŪR :35)
“Nothing does not create something And a thing does not create itself So then Islam does not present a vague idea It does not say that God is a tree Or energy Or a star Or a human being Rather it says God is the Creator of the universe The Creator of time The Creator of matter The Creator of laws That is why the universe is ordered That is why the mind understands That is why morality is real Then it draws attention to something very clear (Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding –)(ĀLI ‘IMRĀN:190 )
The universe is not a silent accident It is a sign Look at the reality around you In India Success without rest Progress without tranquility Technology without certainty People search for peace They try meditation They try silence They try escape But the question remains Am I only a chemical result Or a created being with value If the origin of existence is blind Then the human being is an accident without roots But if the origin of existence is wise and conscious Then the human being makes sense Morality makes sense And the search for meaning makes sense The fundamental difference There are views that make the universe self existing But they do not explain why it exists in the first place There are views that make God part of the universe But a part does not create the whole There are views that say God changes and becomes incarnate But the perfect does not need matter Islam presents one coherent vision One God Absolute Perfect Outside the universe He is the cause of everything A simple monotheism But extremely profound The real shock If Islam explains The beginning of the universe The existence of laws The fine tuning The emergence of consciousness The reality of morality And the meaning of life Within one coherent framework Then the question is no longer Is faith possible It becomes Is it logical to ignore this framework Now ask yourself honestly You are not a number You are not a passing atom You are not an accident without origin Your question itself is evidence Your awareness itself is a sign If there is an explanation that makes all of this understandable Is it wise to turn your back on it Silence after this question Is not comfort It is the beginning of a journey
