If God is Self-Sufficient… why do people need many gods?

In India, you see thousands of temples. You see multiple statues. And gods for every aspect of life: a god for provision, a god for strength, a god for wisdom, a god for protection. But let us ask a very simple question: If the god is perfect… why would he need a partner? Islam does not begin with many details.

It begins with one single issue: Is the Creator perfect or deficient? Perfection does not multiply If more than one true god existed, then one of two things must happen: Either one is stronger than the other → then the weaker is not a god. Or they are completely equal → then who decides when they differ?

01

The Qur’an sets a clear rational principle: ( Had there been within them [i.e., the heavens and earth] gods besides Allah, they both would have been ruined. So exalted is Allah, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.

02

Meaning: if the universe had more than one independent controller, its order would collapse. Look at the universe: The sun does not delay. The laws do not change. Nature operates with astonishing precision. This harmony indicates one will… not multiple wills.

The true God is not represented In some cultures, god is depicted in the form of a human, an animal, or a statue. But Islam asks a decisive question: Does the Creator resemble the creation? God says in the Qur’an: (There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.

Meaning: He is not like humans. Nor like animals. Nor like anything in existence. So how can He be made into a statue? How can He be drawn? How can He be confined within a frame or a wall? Anything that can be represented… is limited. And God is not limited. Does God need someone to carry Him?

In some rituals, statues are carried in processions. They are cleaned. Decorated. Guarded. But ask yourself honestly: Who needs whom? Does the god need someone to carry him? Or does the human being need someone to carry him in his weakness? Islam clearly states: God is the One who upholds the heavens and the earth. And He needs no one.

Why does Islam reject the idea of “incarnation”? Because incarnation means that God entered into the limits of a body. And the body: eats sleeps feels pain becomes weak dies If God enters into a body… He becomes subject to the laws of matter. And the one who is subject cannot be God.

For this reason, Islam came with a very pure belief: One God. Uncreated. Unlimited. Not incarnated. Not represented. What results from this belief? If you believe in one perfect God: You will not fear a statue being broken. You will not worry about a ritual you missed. You will not live between competing gods.

Your heart will turn directly to the Creator. Without intermediary. Without statue. Without multiplicity. This frees the mind from myths. And frees the heart from attachment to other than God. A direct message to non-Muslims We do not write this as an attack on people. But we discuss ideas with clarity.

Ask yourself: Is the god you worship perfectly powerful? Or is he part of nature? Or an enlarged human image? Islam does not ask you to abandon your belief without thinking. Rather, it asks you to think sincerely. If God is one, perfect, not in need, unlimited… Is it fitting for Him to have a partner? Or an image? Or offspring?

Islam is not a tribal religion It is not exclusive to Arabs. Nor tied to a specific culture. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did not call only the Arabs. He called all people.

The message is directed to you as well. No matter your origin. No matter your background. The real question The issue is not following ancestors. Nor the number of followers. Nor the age of the idea. The issue is: Does this belief befit a perfect God? If God is Self-Sufficient, perfect, and needs nothing… Then He alone deserves worship.

And if not… Then He is not the true God. Conclusion Islam calls you to pure monotheism without complexity. To one God, perfect in power. Not represented. Not incarnated. Without partners. Think calmly. Search sincerely. And ask God—if He truly exists—to guide you to the truth. Guidance is not limited to a people. Nor to a color.

Nor to a language. It is for whoever seeks it sincerely.
