Who sets the law… humans or the Creator?

Imagine living in a society that changes its laws every ten years.

What was once a crime becomes a right.

01

What was once a virtue becomes backwardness.

02

What was once called “freedom” becomes “extremism.”

03

The question is not about a specific issue.

The question is about the source.

Who defines justice?

If humans are the source,

then the result is inevitably relative.

Judgment changes with political moods.

With media influence.

With economic interests.

But Islam begins from a different foundation:

(Indeed, AllAh orders justice and good conduct)[AN-NAḤL -90]

This is not a moral suggestion.

It is a legislative principle.

Justice in Islam is not subject to voting.

It is a divine command.

God is the Creator.

And the Creator knows His creation best.

(Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Aware?) [AL‑MULK-14]

If the One who sets the law is the One who created the human soul,

then He knows its weaknesses,

its needs,

and what truly benefits it.

Human law reacts to problems after they occur.

Revelation guides human nature before deviation happens.

This is the essential difference.

Do you want a system shaped by public pressure?

Or a system from a Lord who knows what is hidden within hearts?
