Can the Creator Be Part of the Universe He Created?

It is a basic principle of reason:

The maker is not part of what he makes.

01

The carpenter is not part of the table,

02

The engineer is not part of the bridge,

03

The painter is not inside the painting.

So how could the Creator be part of a world that He Himself brought into existence?

The Fundamental Islamic Point

The universe in all its details:

Time

Space

Matter

Energy

Is created.

Therefore:

The One who created time is not limited by time,

And the One who created space is not contained within space.

Why Does Islam Reject the Idea of Incarnation?

Because incarnation means that God becomes:

Limited,

Hungry,

Tired,

Subject to the laws of the body.

And this contradicts His perfection and transcendence.

God in Islam

Greater than the universe,

Prior to everything,

And nothing contains Him.

If He were inside the universe, He would be part of a created system,

And He would lose the attribute of being the Creator.

The Impact of This Concept

It frees the human being from sanctifying created things:

Human beings

Stones

Trees

Mountains

Stars

Because the God in Islam is greater than everything He created.
