Fitrah The truth planted in the heart of every human being Allah created the human being with an inner natural knowledge of the existence of his Creator This means that the idea of God is not only something a person learns but something he is born with Every human being is born with a natural inclination to believe in one God But the environment and society may change this direction over time That is why when a person faces a severe danger or a sudden disaster he instinctively cries out O God Even if he is not religious Why does the human being always search for God If the human being were only a physical body he would not need faith at all But the truth is that the human being is not only a body inside him there is a soul searching for its Creator That is why throughout all of history human beings have searched for God In the mountains In temples In spiritual reflections This search is not meaningless It is evidence that inside the human being there is something that already knows the truth The problem is not in the Fitrah but in what covers it Imagine a very clear mirror If dust accumulates on it for years it will not reflect light well But the problem is not in the mirror itself but in the dust that covered it The human heart is like that The Fitrah within it knows God but habits traditions and environment may cover this truth That is why when a person hears the truth clearly he feels something strange as if he already knew it before Islam is not a new idea but a return to the original truth Many people think that entering Islam means changing identity or abandoning the past But the reality is very different Islam does not ask you to forget the previous prophets In fact a Muslim must believe in all the prophets who came to guide humanity All the prophets called to the same simple message (And We sent not before you any messenger except We revealed to him that, "There is no deity except Me, so worship Me.")(AL‑ANBIYĀ’:25)
