Is justice just a story we like to believe
A young man in Hyderabad Works in a financial company In front of him there is a small number in a file If he changes it a little He will receive a bonus No camera No manager No law Just a number His hand moves Then it stops Why If morality is only an agreement If good and evil are only a social agreement Then there is no problem If no one discovers it The matter is finished But something inside him says This is wrong Where did this voice come from Imagine something shocking If morality is completely relative Then there is no rape that is wrong in itself There is no slavery that is wrong in itself There is no oppression that is wrong in itself There are only Actions society does not like If society approves They become acceptable Do you accept this When a poor person is oppressed Do you say I do not like this Or do you say This is wrong The word wrong means something big It means that a scale has been broken Who placed the scale Nature does not know justice Nature knows power The lion eats the gazelle And there is no court If the universe is only matter Where did the idea come from that the weak deserves protection Where did moral anger come from In India the story is not theoretical India lived for centuries with social caste divisions People treated as less than others because of origin But there was always a voice saying This is unjust Pay close attention When you say unjust You assume a justice higher than society If society were the source of morality You would have no right to object to it But we object Why The truth some people do not like to hear If you separate morality from a higher reference It becomes a power game The strongest defines what is right The majority defines justice Culture redefines dignity Today one thing is acceptable Tomorrow something else Do you want your life built on a changing wave Here comes the real difference Islam does not say morality is a human invention Islam says morality is a reflection of the attributes of God Justice is valuable because it is an attribute of God Mercy is valuable because it is an attribute of God Truthfulness is valuable because it is connected to truth God is not an idea Not energy Not a spirit spread in the universe Rather He is The Creator The Perfect The Absolute The One who does not change And that is why His scale does not change The Quran places the question before you without decoration ( Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]?)(AṬ-ṬŪR :35)
“Either everything has no foundation Or it has a Creator Then it says about the human being (And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference.)(AL‑ISRĀ’ )
Notice We honored the children of Adam Not a certain class Not a certain race Not the rich instead of the poor Dignity here is not a human law But a reality of creation Why is this important Because if you say morality is relative You will not be able to condemn any injustice absolutely You will only say I do not prefer it But your heart knows the matter is deeper than preference You do not only want a comfortable society You want real justice And real justice needs a stable source Can reason alone be enough Reason is influenced by interest When you are strong You justify for yourself When you are weak You ask for justice That is why morality needs a standard That does not change with changing circumstances The one perfect God Is the only one suitable to be this standard Not a god that incarnates Not a god that changes Not many gods with different wills But one God Perfect Unchanging Now ask yourself honestly When you say This is injustice Do you mean I do not like it Or do you mean This violates a higher scale And if there is a higher scale Who placed it Can a mind that searches for absolute justice Be satisfied with a world without a higher reference Or is your deep sense of justice Evidence that behind this universe There is a just God And the final question is yours alone If Islam is the only worldview that makes Justice real Dignity original And morality stable Is it wise to search for something else
