A simple journey to understand what happened. When humans search for God, they don't look for a habit, but for the ultimate meaning of their lives.
The concept of God in India, for example, was not formed in a single day, nor was it linked to one person, or written in a single moment. It took shape over long centuries.
With time, ideas were added, perceptions expanded, and concepts accumulated. With every addition, the meaning of "God" changed slightly.
The Higher Idea
A conception of a supreme reality—a higher existence above all things. It might not have a specific image, body, or name.
Deities for nature, power, and preservation appeared. Anything feared or desired might turn into an object of sanctity.
When a loved one falls ill, do you pray to an "energy"? The heart seeks one who hears, who shows mercy, and who forgives.
If everything is God, what distinguishes God from the world? If a tree is divine, what then is the meaning of worship?
Deep down, humans desire something simple: One God—clear, constant, and unchanging across places and multiplicities.
