Lordship: Why It Seems Logical… but Isn’t Enough?

Many people today say: “I believe in the existence of God… but I do not believe in the prophets.” This position is often called “Deism.” Its idea is simple: God created the universe, then left humans to rely on their minds. The idea seems balanced. No atheism. No full religious commitment.

But when we look deeply, questions arise that have no answer.

01

First: Deism Acknowledges the Creator… But What Comes Next? If God exists, He is a wise Creator. And a wise Creator does not create in vain. So why was man created? What is the purpose of his life? And what is his fate after death? Deism says: Use your mind. But minds differ. And they change with changing cultures.

02

What one nation sees as right, another sees as wrong. Can God leave humans in this wide discrepancy and then hold them accountable?

03

Second: Justice Requires Clarification If there is accountability after death, on what basis will it be? Without a clear message, every person becomes a standard for himself. Justice requires the clarity of law. And law requires clarification. And this clarification is the message.

Third: Deism Makes the Relationship with God Distant In the Deist view, God created the universe, then did not intervene after that. But this raises a simple question: Is it reasonable that God created a human who searches for Him, questions Him, and seeks guidance, but then does not answer him?

If God is capable of creating this vast universe, is He incapable of sending a message?

Fourth: What About History? Over thousands of years, there have been claims of messages sent from God. Is it reasonable that all humans were wrong, and that God never sent anything? Or is it more likely that there were real messages, mixed with distorted ones, but the essence of the idea is correct?

Fifth: Deism Seems Comfortable… But It Leaves a Void It comforts a person by avoiding commitment. No defined worship. No clear commandments. No detailed responsibility. But it leaves a void: What is the standard of good and evil? How do we worship God? What does He want from us? How do we face death?

Belief in the Creator without a message is like believing in a school without a curriculum.

A Simple Comparison We have two possibilities: The first: God created humans, then left them in perpetual disagreement, and will later hold them accountable. The second: God created humans, then sent them messengers, and clarified the path before accountability. Which of these possibilities aligns more with wisdom?

Which one aligns more with justice? Deism seems like a step toward belief. But it stops halfway. And the question that cannot be ignored is: If the message is possible, and if it is more consistent with justice and wisdom, why reject it? Here begins the real search.
