All of these sources change.
What was acceptable fifty years ago may be rejected today.
And what is considered “freedom” in one city… may be considered “deviation” in another.
If morality changes as society changes…
is it truly stable?
3.
Morality Without a Higher Reference
Imagine a world without God… without accountability… without an absolute reference.
In this world:
Good becomes merely a social agreement.
Evil becomes simply a violation of custom.
Law becomes the result of voting.
If the majority votes for something unjust…
does it become justice?
If a powerful nation agrees to exploit a weaker one… does it become legitimate?
History is full of examples of oppression that was once legal.
So who judges the law itself?
4. Why Does Goodness Need Deeper Roots?
Faith in Islam does not tell you: “Just be good.”
Rather, it says:
Be good because God commanded it.
Be just because God is just.
Show mercy because God is merciful.
Do not ظلم because you will be questioned.
The difference is fundamental.
In the faith-based worldview, morality is not a matter of taste.
It is a commitment before the Creator.
And this gives it stability that is not shaken by social trends.
5. A Difficult but Honest Question
If you could ظلم someone without anyone seeing you…
without the law holding you accountable…
and without losing your reputation…
would you still remain “good”?
True faith is what restrains you in secrecy.
Not fear of society.
But awareness of a higher watch.
6. Goodness for What Purpose?
Even if you are a generous person… why do you do good?
to feel satisfied?
to gain appreciation?
because you like the positive image of yourself?
These are understandable human motives.
But they remain centered on the self.
Faith moves goodness from serving the ego… to worship.
You help because God loves kindness.
You forgive because God loves forgiveness.
You remain patient because you believe in accountability… and that God rewards it.
The intention here changes the value completely.
7. What About Injustice That Goes Unpunished?
In a world without faith:
The child who died unjustly… his story ends.
The woman who was tortured… receives no true compensation.
The criminal who escaped justice… has won.
But in the faith-based worldview:
Nothing is lost.
No blood is forgotten.
No tear passes without accountability.
