Before the Revelation A Soul Searching for Deeper Meaning

He was not ignorant

He was not naive

01

He knew life well

02

He worked traveled traded and mingled with people

03

He saw everything

Oppression

Poverty

Superstitions

Idol worship

Exploitation of the weak

Despite his success among his people he felt that something was missing

That the world could not be like this without meaning

Why the Cave of Hira

He used to go alone to a small cave on Jabal al Nur

Not to escape but to search

Sometimes the heart knows what words cannot express

He would sit for hours in deep silence looking at Makkah from afar as if observing a world waiting for change

2- The night that divided history into two halves

On one of those nights while in the cave

He heard a voice

A voice not from the earth

Jibril appeared to him and said one word Read

He had never read a book and had never learned to read

But the message was not about paper

It was about opening a new door for humanity

That moment was like a flash of light piercing his heart

The mountain trembled and his soul trembled with it

Why was the scene so powerful

Because the message was not merely texts

It was the beginning of

Transforming a society

Redefining morality

Freeing humanity from fear

Connecting heaven with earth

3- Returning home The beginning of the message in the heart of one woman

He returned quickly from the mountain breathing deeply astonishment nearly visible in his eyes

He entered upon his wife Khadijah fearful and she embraced him

She said words that restored tranquility to his heart By God Allah will never disgrace you

It was as if the message began in the heart of a woman who believed in him before he was a prophet

That moment was the first human support for the message

4- The beginning of revelation A moment that shakes the heart

After that night revelation began descending gradually

They were not ordinary words

They were words that shook the soul

That broke intellectual idols before stone idols

That said to humanity

You are not a lost creation but part of a greater story

The first revelation restored human dignity

Read in the name of your Lord who created

Created man from a clinging substance

Read and your Lord is the Most Generous

Who taught by the pen

Taught man what he did not know

Surah Al Alaq 1 to 5

It was as if the message declared from its very first moments

Human beings are not slaves to idols

Nor to tribe

Nor to superstition

But servants of God alone and dignity comes from intellect truth and justice

5- Why did people resist him

Not because he lied

He had been the truthful the trustworthy since childhood

Not because he oppressed

He was the most merciful in Makkah

But because the message struck at the roots of the pagan system

It shattered the authority of the arrogant

Stopped exploitation of the weak

Abolished tribal privilege

Exposed the falsehood of stone worship

Called for equality that was foreign to them

It is natural that the powerful fear a man who comes to redefine power

6- The secret call then the public call Courage explained only by faith

For three years he called secretly gathering with a small number of people in the house of Al Arqam

Not out of fear but because the message required spiritual formation first

Then he proclaimed the message publicly

He did not say follow me and I will give you wealth

He said Say there is no deity except Allah and you will succeed

It was one sentence

Yet it shook the economy of Makkah

Its religion

Its politics

Its customs

7- Thirteen years of steadfastness under torture

Those who believed in him were not the wealthy

They were the oppressed

Ammar

Bilal

Khabbab

The family of Yasir

They were tortured publicly

Yet they did not retreat

This alone is sufficient proof of the power of the message because lies cannot endure under torture

8-Why did he not stop

A question asked by anyone who reads his life sincerely

He was a man without authority

Without an army

Without wealth

Yet he challenged

The leaders of Makkah

The economy of Makkah

The beliefs of Makkah

The strongest tribes of Arabia

He could have remained silent

He could have lived as a respected and beloved merchant

He could have avoided problems

But there was one truth moving him

The message was not from him but from the Lord of the worlds
