Have you ever wondered: why do we have so much… yet feel so little?

Why can a person buy everything except peace of mind?

In the crowded streets of India, amid the noise of trains, and under the pressure of work, study, and rising costs… millions of people are searching for one thing: peace of the heart.

01

But the shocking truth is:

02

People today are materially richer than previous generations… yet emotionally poorer than they were.

03

Here, Islam offers a completely different answer, an answer that begins:

from “the richness of God” and not from “the richness of the human being”.

1. Why does fear increase despite expanding choices?

Ask yourself:

How many times have you felt that you have a lot, yet you are not at peace?

How many times has your income increased… but your sense of security did not?

How many times has the future felt heavy, despite all your planning and effort?

A human being—no matter how much wealth or knowledge he has—remains incomplete:

he needs, fears, weakens, worries, and waits for help greater than himself.

And this is because a human being does not feel peace unless he connects to the One who does not need, does not perish, and does not change… the One God.

2. What does it mean that God is “Al-Ghani”?

“Al-Ghani” does not mean wealth of money, but:

that He needs no one… and everyone needs Him.

Reflect on this powerful image:

If all the people of the earth asked God for everything they desired, and He gave each one without limit…

nothing of His dominion would decrease.

In a sacred hadith:

“…If the first of you and the last of you, the living and the dead among you, all gathered in one place, and every person asked for whatever he wished, and I gave each one what he asked, that would not decrease My dominion except as a needle dipped into the sea and then lifted.”

This is divine richness:

giving that never ends… power not limited by circumstances… and mercy that never runs out.

3. How does this change a person’s view of life?

When a person connects to a Self-Sufficient God,

a God capable of everything,

a God who hears the supplication of the weak just as He hears the supplication of the king…

he begins to free himself from four fears that destroy people today:

• Fear of the future

Because the future is in the hands of One who is never incapable.

• Fear of losing provision

Because the One who gave today can give tomorrow.

• Fear of people

Because people do not possess benefit or harm even for themselves except by God’s will.

• Fear of circumstances

Circumstances change… but God does not change.

This freedom is the beginning of true strength.

4. True richness… is not what your hand owns, but what your heart is attached to

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Richness is not having many possessions, but true richness is the richness of the soul.”

A deep and simple meaning:

A person may own millions… yet feel no sufficiency.

Another may have little… yet be more at peace than the wealthy.

Not because money is small, but because the heart is connected to the source of giving.

This connection is monotheism:

to worship one God… not to divide your needs between multiple gods, nor mysterious forces, nor people like you.

5. Why does the one who trusts God succeed more than the anxious one?

Islam does not ask you to abandon work,

but calls you to work with a stable heart.

Spiritual richness produces:

peace of mind

and peace produces clarity

and clarity leads to correct decisions

and correct decisions open the doors of real success

The peaceful person works calmly, dreams with confidence, and moves forward without hesitation.

6. A real-life example from the Indian context

Look around you:

You will find someone working long hours, earning money, yet living in constant anxiety.

And in contrast, you may see a simple Muslim person, working hard, yet stable, patient, and calm… because his heart is attached to one Lord, not to market conditions or human decisions.

The difference?

The first depends on limited power… the second depends on unlimited power.

7. Why does monotheism withstand all modern crises?

Because monotheism simplifies everything:

One God…

One law…

One door to turn to…

One source of provision…

No contradiction, no confusion, no duality.

While multiple gods, deifying humans, or worshipping nature lead to:

confusion, anxiety, and conflicting references.

Conclusion: What if the peace you are searching for… is closer than you think?

The name of God “Al-Ghani” is not a poetic idea, but a profound reality:

that all good is in God’s hand alone

that provision does not decrease

that the future can change through sincere supplication

and that your heart can find peace… if it finds the right path

Islam does not ask you to believe in many gods, nor complex rituals, nor mysterious forces… but invites you to one simple truth:

One God worthy of worship, worthy of trust, and worthy of being asked.

Take a sincere moment and think:

What if Islam is the path you have been searching for all these years?

This step may be… the beginning of a peace you have never known before.
